Seek First

Welcome to Seek First. Join us for a month of prayer this February 2025. Our priority over this season, as always, is to seek God first, and to see Him more clearly.

Weekly Rhythm

  • Focusing on a passage of scripture each week, there will be a short devotional and an opportunity for you to take your personal study and meditation further.

  • A simple explanation of intercession is ā€™standing in the gapā€™. There will be guides and prayer points to aid us as we intercede for the world around us.

  • Our midweek fast may look different for each person, but is an opportunity for us corporately to seek Kingdom things above all else. There will be a biblical focus for our fasting each week

  • We will meet to pray and worship at 8pm at KCA. If you are unable to gather in person, you can still join us by praying and worshipping where you are.

  • In 1 Corinthians 2:2, Paul states ā€œ For I resolved to know nothing ā€¦ except Jesus Christ and Him crucified.ā€ Each Friday, we will take communion , focusing ourselves, as Paul did, on Jesus. Feel free to join us at KCA at midday, or take it where you are with the people you are with

  • We will be focussing on praise and thanksgiving. 1 Thessalonians 5:18 states, ā€œGive thanks in all circumstances; for this is Godā€™s will for you in Christ Jesus.ā€ There will be chosen psalms and testimonies to encourage us along the way.

  • Sundays will be a day to recognise the importance of Sabbath rest. A pause in the week to receive His blessing.
