Our Youth Ministry is led by Robyn Hughes, who loves spending time with and supporting young people in our community. We offer a range of events for young people to get involved in, both at King’s and in conjunction with other Amersham churches.
Working with an incredible team of volunteers, Robyn arranges and runs weekly groups on Sundays and mid-week, off-site activities such as camps and weekends away and special events including worship evenings, summer balls, Top Golf trips and many more exciting activities!
After joining with the whole church to worship in the main auditorium we meet up in the youth room (The Street) for time to catch up and play games, and to hear more about God and the Bible. We have a lot of fun sharing life together and taking time to learn what it means to live a life following Jesus and how the Bible is relevant to our lives today.
One Sunday a month, 10.30am-12pm, Years 10-13
Once a month we meet up with Connect for a time of worship (led by the Youth Band) in The Street and then in the Prayer Room for a time of Bible study, discussion and prayer.
Every month we take a trip over to Soul Survivor in Watford to join with hundreds of other young people to worship, hear a message from the Bible and see what the Holy Spirit will do.
Sunday or Tuesday evenings, twice a year
6.30pm-8.30pm, Years 7-13
We join with friends from other churches locally at various venues to enjoy lively praise and worship led by one of the Youth worship bands. These evenings usually include fun activities such as a bouncy castle or water slide!
Each week we take time out to study the Bible in depth and find out what it has to say to us about the way we live our lives now and how it can help us to deal with the challenges we face.
